Putting on itchy clothes, waiting your turn at the mall with your kids getting antsy and your baby getting hungry, while you pray everyone cooperates, as you're rushed through your 20 minute photo session is not my idea of fun. People look their best when they are relaxed, comfortable, and photographed in natural light- this is what I aim to provide. Are you up for something different? Are you ready to capture your family in a unique and artistic way? If your answer is yes, then I'm your girl!

Your photo session will be tailored to your needs and will take place in the location of your choice. Plan on your session taking an hour to an hour and a half. Newborns can be photographed in their home, where mom can control the temperature and noise level, and baby's need for feedings and diaper changes can be easily met. If you are not ready for in home guests you can bring your newborn to my quiet and comfy studio for a very relaxed and low key session tailored to your family's needs. Families can be photographed outdoors at some of our local parks, in studio, or in your home. Headshots and senior pictures can be done at a variety of spots around town, accommodating wardrobe and location changes, making sure to capture your unique personality.

What to wear-

Outfits that are coordinated but not matching look great on camera. You won't necessarily look your best in the same outfit as your 2 year old, and your 12 year old certainly doesn't want to be dressed just like you, so don't feel compelled to get everyone matching outfits. Layers and textures with pops of color are always a winner. Make sure everyone is comfortable in their clothes, if they aren't it shows on camera. Avoid any kind of logos or graphics. For newborns, and babies in general, outfits should be extremely simple or left off entirely. Brightly colored, patterned clothes tend to envelope a newborn, we want to see your baby rather than the outfit. For newborn shoots it's also advisable that other family members keep their attire extremely simple too so that your precious new baby and the interaction with the family takes center stage. What's next?

A blog sneak peek of your images will be posted within 24 hours. The remainder of your pictures will be ready for viewing in an online gallery here on my website within 4-5 days. Your gallery will be posted for 7 days and initial orders should be placed within this time frame. Your prints, canvases, cards, and other products are all printed at a professional lab and are available for pick up within a week of your order being placed unless otherwise noted. Discs of headshots are ready for pick up withing 2-3 days of your session.
